This National PA Week, we honor the Physician Assistants across Arizona whose dedication, skill, and compassion make a daily difference in the health and lives of our communities. PAs continue to be at the heart of patient care—bridging gaps in access, delivering high-quality treatment, and leading in clinical, academic, and community settings.

This year also marks an important milestone for our profession in Arizona. Through the tireless efforts of our state society, leadership, and countless advocates, we advanced collaborative practice reform—modernizing the way PAs can work alongside physicians to meet patient needs. These changes didn’t happen overnight; they reflect years of advocacy, conversation, and determination to ensure our practice laws keep pace with the realities of healthcare today.

We are proud of the hard work that brought this progress forward and even more proud of the PAs across Arizona who embody collaboration, adaptability, and excellence every single day.

To all Arizona PAs—thank you. Your commitment is reshaping the future of medicine in our state.

Thank you,
Susan Reina, Board Chair
